Top of the Rev Limit to ya!
I'm new to this site, and relatively new to Imports....kinda
Machinist by trade, garage monkey by choice
I grew up under the hood with my father, a GM master tech of god-knows-how-long.I keep a clean bench, an organized box, and beer cold in the fridge for those particularly frustrating jobs
My last whip was a 92 teggy, that had a 5 spd swap prior to my owning, and it was a disaster, but fun to tinker with and learn on.
My SO just purchased a 96 Accord 5spd, 173k on the ODO, and I'm just getting to go through it with the tune-ups, maintenance, and *rubs hands together in excitement* anything else she'll let me play with.
Anyone have recommendations for what i should attend to first?
I've already done the valve cover and spark plug gully gaskets, oil change, plugs and wires, air filter...and i think that's it. although I'm still smelling a little oil burning, so I'm going to sift through old posts and collect some ideas of where to start on that.
Anyways, thanks all!
