99 integra misfire codes
new to this site. I just bought a 99 teg with a b18c1. check engine light is on (I figured due to o2 sensor). didn't think it was a big deal because the car ran fine. no rough idle. all gears pull hard. vtec hits every time. took it to a shop to have it checked out. threw quite a few codes including o2 sensor, crankshaft sensor and misfire on all cyllinders. ive read a few posts on here but im just wondering which direction to go in. compression check, timing, injectors, vaccum leak? I plan on doing a full tune up next week. hoping it takes care of the issue but until then id appreciate the help!
First take care of all the codes! depending on which o2 sensor usually bank 1 which is the o2 sensor closest to the engine on the cat converter.
Check the crank shaft fluctuating sensor ( CFP) it might need to be replaced or the wires are shredded causing the code to pop, Its behind the lower timing belt cover bolted to the oil pump.
BUT i don't think its that sensor thats pulling the code its the crank shaft position sensor ( CKP) thats located inside the distributor. This can also explain the miss fires you have.
Replace those and clear the code and or reset the ECU by unplugging it for a few mins and see how it runs or if the codes go away.
