Default Complete All Motor setup * complete swap, b18c1, cheap *

I'm selling this setup for a friend. His reason for selling the motor is because he sold the car that the motor was in and bought himself an ITR.

Make me an offer I can't refuse. Post here, PM me, or email me at m3guy01@hotmail.com I have references!!!

Heres what you get:
94 JDM GSR Motor
00' B16 tranny
New ITR Clutch
Shotpeened GSR rods
Honed Cylinders
New CTR pistons
New Rings
New Honda Bearings
New Water Pump
New Oil Pump
New Head Gasket
New Timing Belt
New Bottom End gaskets (all)
New ITR Valvesprings
New ITR Retainers
New ITR Valves
New CTR Cams
STR Cam Gears
Port and Polished p72 head (ported by Jared of JDM Motorsports in Miami.)
Head flatmilled 1/20,000
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
ITR Throttlebody
P28 ecu (stock though)
98 GSR Axles
All Mounts
GSR Shift Linkage
Full Engine Harness

The motor made 186whp with above setup. It only has 3200 miles on the rebuild and they're are receipts for everything. All the parts on the car are legit, and it comes with a stock GSR header, but I advice you replace it because it would hold back serious power.

This is basically a complete swap. You need a i/e/h and radiator hoses and your up and running.

This motor is no joke. It was pretty damn fast for what it was. Alot of the parts on the motor are new and the rebuild was done by Jared who's built pretty much every fast all motor car in Miami. As a matter of fact he just built my motor and my car is FAST.

He prefers local buyers, but he will ship if the buyer pays the shipping costs. He wants to get rid of this setup fast so he's open to offers...send all offers to my email and im gonna give them to him cus he doesn't have an email that he can use for non-business purposes. Thanks.

Here's a reference thread for the builder. It was written by me but other people post in the thread.

should be around 12.6:1
Wrong, thanks for the misinformation. 12.1:1 apprx. It's 12.04:1 without the 20,000th off the top.

numbers seem weak.
did he dyno the motor on a stock header?
a gsr, with a head port, ctr pistons and cams, should no doubt be in the 200 hp range
Umm, the numbers aren't weak. I don't know what motor your talking about that you throw ctr cams and bump the compression and you have 200whp. Your living in fantasy land...This motor also wasn't tuned for topend power. It's all honda parts with MILD cams. Tuned for mid-range torque and power. Reliable street car was the name of this game.

With an JDM ITR Motor, and Jun cams, Jun valvesprings, Jun retainers, Jun ECU, Jun Header, Jun Cam Gears and fully tuned SIINSI made 205whp. So 5 less horsepower from all that stuff. Seriously just SHUT THE **** UP! And stop trying to kill the thread. ***.

Personally, I hate "make an offer" posts. I might be interested, but not if I have to pull a number out of a hat. I think others are the same way.

stock itr motor, skunk2 stage 1 cams, jdm 4-1, aem, vafc
AEBS tuned 198/136 on 16 inch wheels fuckface
STOCK COMPRESSION!!!!!

so YOU shut the f0ck up, get a better engine builder, or tuner.
ok, you have a small point, but its not like the motor is ****. He basically put together an itr motor with a little higher compression. He doesnt mention an intake/exhaust, what if he was running stock? Say he was, so you guys have essentially the same motor but you have skunk2 cams (which have been known to make some damn good power), a jdm 4-1, and Aem CAI. What if the motor was not tuned yet?

He's 12hp behind you, seems reasonable to me.

I guess my point was:

say he brings his compression down to 11.1:1. Roughly, he'll lose 15hp, so he's sitting at 171hp to the wheels, with basically a stock b18c5 setup, right? Don't stock ITR's dyno around that? Yes, it's all brand new stuff, but it's all honda parts. This is assuming a P&P gsr head is similar to an itr head.

Now, it may have been more cost effective to just get a b18c5, but he didn't. You just may have a really good motor to get the good numbers you have. I was looking at JeffNA's post and it looks like he dumped a ton of money in aftermarket parts (JUN/Toda) in gsr with an itr head and only managed 203hp or something.

I realize you're pissed because he tried to call you out, I just don't appreciate you badmouthing the motor he is trying to sell. For the price he is looking for, this is a pretty damn good deal.

Ok enough if this compression Bullshit!!!

Stock Bore CTR Pistons! Not oversized. 8.63cc Positive Dome per Piston
GSR Head 42cc Cylinder Volume
GSR Head Gasket .737 (.029in) Thickness.
CTR Pistons are .762mm (.03in) in the hole.

12.042:1 Compression Ratio and add compression for whatever 1/20,000 flat milling will add. MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE 12.15:1 Definately not 12.5

If you don't know how to do the math. Learn here: http://integra.vtec.net/engine/motorbuild.html

As for your motor. Good for you. Your compression is a little less than a point lower than my friends motor. He's got a ported head, you've got a ported head (from factory), you've got Skunk cams, he's got CTR's. I know a guy that made 12whp going from CTR's to Skunk1's. That difference alone accounts for the difference in our motors. 186 + 10whp (lets be conservative) = 196. Our setups are not as comparable as you think.

I dont know how your dyno conditions where. I assume it was hot as hell in Cali, but it also was 94 degrees on the dyno day at lujan, and humidity was 100%!!

This motor went 12.87@104 in a hatch, was dead reliable, made awesome midrange, has brand new everything. And let's see. 4500 for an ITR swap (used), plus lets say another 1500 you threw into a header and the cams. $6000.

I'm looking to get 4000 shipped for this Entire swap. 3200 miles on the motor. So just please don't post in my thread unless you have something nice to say. You can probably take this motor to AEBS and have them tune another 20hp out of it, I don't really care. It made 186whp and that's not changing.

Try this.
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c.../compcalc.html

That does it for you. Put in GSR head, GSR block, b16b pistons, stock headgasket, etc etc...and see what compression ratio you come up with... 12.04:1

Also this motor has near perfect compression across the board. 252-250-249-252 That's almost perfect compression...within 3pts.

Also if a moderator reads this please just lock the thread. This ***** been hijacked and it's gotten way off topic..

With all the stuff you have listed you could have Taken a STOCK gsr and just added the CTR cams, ported and polished head, ITR T-Body, And some descent tuning you should be at close to 186 WHP with just those items. My GSR alone with just I/H/E put down 164 at the wheels. If you can only get 20 Hp more to the wheels with all that you should fire your tuner. LOL

One of you is using a B16 piston-to-deck height (12.4) and the other is using a B18 height (12.04).

I don't know enough to tell which one is right.
