Stalling after giving throttle.
Hello, I have a 98 Acura CL 2.3L that I just swapped a JDM F23 into from the original USDM F23A1 motor. I'm having a few different issues I would like to tackle after getting the swap completed.
Number one issue is the vehicle wants to die after I give it some gas, wether it be a couple hundred rpm or 2000. Whenever I go to let off when it's parked the engine will fall to a staggering 350 rpm and idle back to about 850 give or take 50. I have cleaned all my sensors, got new gaskets for the valve cover, exhaust and intake. I cleaned the intake and throttle body completely before install. The intake was swapped onto the jdm from my USDM as well.
I would like to hear some advanced advice on what may be causing such a issue.
Second problem to discuss is a small coolant leak coming from the back of the engine running through the rear engine mount and past the driver side cv axle and on to my sub frame connector. The leak isn't coming from the heater core hose by the way.
So, are these two issues connected? Thank you for any feedback.
Tldr; when I give the car throttle it wants to die after I let off the gas. Strange coolant leak from the rear mount.Help

You can't clean an oxygen sensor so if you tried you may have damaged it to the point of it giving false readings to the ecu and causing it to dump fuel and flood it. Just a thought.
Sorry to revive an old thread but I'm having the same situation, I swapped a Jdm f23a into my brothers 2.3 Acura cl and I'm having the same issues, I've tried finding vacuum leaks and nothing and I replaced the iacv due to it throwing a CEL but that only fixed an idling issue it had but now my issue is that it wants to stall when given gas same as OP I also had some coolant coming out from behind the engine and the engine wants to over heat after idling for a while. I've looked around and seen that people disconnected there oxygen sensor so I might just give that a try but if anyone has any input I would appreciate it.
You can try disconnecting the oxygen sensor, when it throws a check engine code, if it runs better than the issue is either an exhaust leak or the oxygen sensor is lazy and bad.
However, I would start first with fixing that overheating issue if I were you. That could spell disaster if it does overheat.
