DC5R Brembo Conversion EK...Which wheels work?
Hey, what's up Honda-Tech!!! So, I completely restored and rebuilt some DC5R Brembo's and have them mounted up. PS, I did have to machine the hubs down to fit the S2000 rotors over them. I currently have I think 99 Spec JDM ITR wheels and it's laughable at how much I would have to space the wheels for them to work (they would stick out of the fenders at least 3/4 of an inch and look dumb as hell). I'm looking into getting some 5x114.3 Volk ce28n's 16x7 +42 offset. Does anyone know if these will work (and not stick out of the fender wells)? Do you know any wheels that will fit over the Brembo's and not stick out past the edge of the fenders?
I should probably state my goals as well. I'm trying to get a set of 16" wheels that will clear the DC5R Brembo's on my EK. I'm sure that I will have to space them as well (which is fine, I have ARP extended studs). Also, if anyone knows of a wheel and wheel spacer (please give me the wheel spacer mm thickness), I would be greatly appreciative. I'm dead set on making this work!!!
Thanks for the help all and please help me find a set of good looking wheels that will work!

Measure the distance of the caliper front face to the rotor hat front face. That'll give you an idea for offset. Then you can look at the wheel spoke design.
I have 17x8 +45 TL-S wheels over my RL brakes (06 TSX). I would think something in the 8 +45 range should work for you up front. You'll have to buy something else for the rear to clear the RTA.
I think stock DC5-R wheels are 7.5 +55 or something. That would likely hit your inner fender on turns, and you'll need a really convex spoke.

Thanks for the reply. I'm only looking to throw some 16's on. It's looking like Volk ce28n's 16x7 +42 or +33. Any suggestions. I don't mind using spacers with the +42's as long as I can clear the caliper without the wheels sticking out (to where they look silly). Any comments, suggestions, pictures, or first hand advice is quite welcome. Thanks all
