Hey Guys,
I've Got an EG Hatchback with a auto tranny thats gone nuts, Whenever Over 180 km/h the gear slips and I Have To Stop and Leave The Car Cool Down So It Can Take a Gear Again, First Gear is Also Gone Very Weak I Have to Rev it up to 2,000RPM so it can start going.
Anyway Whats The Ideal Auto or Manual Transmission on a ZC Engine.

 

Ranging from fastest acceleration to slowest/possibly best MPG.

* 92-95 Civic Si/EX, Del Sol Si manual transmission
* 92-95 Civic DX/LX, Del Sol S manual transmission
* 92-95 Civic CX/VX

 

Going to make an observation here. If your going 110 mph all the time, why the hell are you trying to do it on a auto tragic trashmission?

 

Dead on there. I was expecting to come in here and relay the pros and cons to each one as each has their uses with different negatives that you have to take in stride, but the OP has definitely ruled out the convenience factor of the automatic by expressing wanting nothing but speed and acceleration.
