So after searching everywhere and not finding anything available I decided to make a upper crossbar to reinforce the top of my Del Sol. This bar has an amazing effect on the stability and noise issues with the Sol. Even stops the dreaded door catch from ripping out. I'm a big time canyon runner and rely on a stable car, and this definitely helps.
I know it looks you would lose head room, and in some ways you do, but my 6'2" father drives my Sol just fine with the bar installed. He used my car for a month while I was out of state and loved every minute of it. Everything fits with some slight modification to the plastics, and all stock bolt holes were use so there was no body drilling or cutting to make it fit.
I would like to start making some for my fellow Sol owners but need a few people signed up to make it worth my while. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
P.S. Don't mind my dog licking his *** in the background... :/

I was thinking $200-$300 depending on how many people would want one.
I do want to put out there that this is for off road or race applications only!!! And in an accident it could be more of a problem than a help. Helmets and padding over the bars is always required, just like any roll bar you would place in a vehicle.
