Hi,

I need to find out the bolt hole sizes as I need to retap them. Since Honda did not see fit to add in plastic/rubber plug on the holes - after 7 years they are corroded and I can't start the bolts. The hitch came with 12 mm x 1.25 bolts and I need to make absolutely sure so I can get the correct tap.

A Honda dealer could look up the correct bolts for you on the electronic catalogue and by doing this that should also give you the bolt description / specs. This would id them as 12mm x 1.5 or the correct diameter and thread pitch.
