New socal Si hatch owner.
Hello H-T community,
New member/owner here, two weeks ago I picked up a completely stock and perfect interior 1991 Civic Si hatch. Rented a car drove up to San Francisco, paid the seller, got the paperwork, filled up and drove it home about 400+ miles without a hitch! Loving the gas mileage for sure.
Future plans are: a rebuilt motor, replace struts/shocks on all four corners and possibly install A/C not sure about that one just yet.
Already done: "New" rebuilt 5 speed transmission, replaced timing belt and water pump (well it's going in Monday a.m. of next week) replaced aftermarket wheels and tires (I didn't like the wheels the PO had) with 1999 -2000 Civic Si wheel and new rubber.
I've been lurking around the EF section for the past week and have read up on some good info on here. Thank you for having such a great informative site.
