Icon2 Welded cracked head concerns/help

So heres the story i bought a rsx-s (02-04) cylinder head off some dude from craigslist. He said it came off a running car but got a new motor and didnt need it anymore. A month down the road i take it to a machine shop to have it cleaned, resurfaced, pressure checked and vacuum tested turns out he had two broken valve guides and has been welded. They told me its better to find another head and wouldn't recommend me using this head anymore since it might crack again and take the whole block with it. I need a second a opinion and is this head even salvageable. Thanks in advance!

Holy Backyard work batman!! it is fixable but it will require some attention. new guides, chamber work and welding by someone who is capable, Possibly new seats and a full recondition. make sure to carefully inspect everything you got from that automotive terrorist .

After what's required to fix it, it's going to be cheaper to find another head.

See if you can use it as a core.
