Alright so first things first, I work full time, and go to school full time. With that being said my project is moving slowly. However, I did recently do a little something to it. I decided to start working on my rear disc conversion. I was in the junkyard looking for some gauge cluster brackets when I stumbled across these little gems (hanging on a 91 Teg).
Pro Tip: Always carry wasp spray in a junkyard...
So I snatched these while two guys were taking the engine out and trans.
Got them stripped down, pressure washed them, heated and painted.
New Hubs, new rotors and installing the Hawk HP plus pads.
New Powder coated/rebuilt calipers.
Full list of suspension $bling$:
New: Hubs, rotors, dust caps, spindle nuts, calipers.
Stop-tech stainless steel braided brake lines
Function7 LCA's
Hawk HP Plus pads
All bushings are by Hardrace (hard rubber)
Hardrace front and rear camber kit
Hardrace rear toe adjustment bar
ASR rear subframe brace and 24mm sway.
If I can get any free time, I will post up more progress. But my time is limited at the moment.
Also, I snatched the e-brake cables from the Teg, these should fit on my 89 civic DX right? I was told they would.
