Hello, I have a 2007 honda accord with a 3.0 engine. For about 2 weeks now I noticed the fan would kick on after I turned the car off and will remain on for a couple minutes. I thought it would be the relay and replaced it however it still stayed on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

Can't remember the exact function on the 07 Accord...but but pretty sure the 06 and 07 went "back" to the cooling fan (one) running when the car is off and thermo b/ECT 2 seeing temp abouve X. It is late and I'm going on memory.

Does the fan cut off after ~20 minutes when the car is shut off?

 

Yes the fan does cut off but not after 20 minutes. Maybe a couple if not up to 5. Do you know the purpose of the radiator fan switch?
