Default identifying LS transmission

I'm trying to identify my LS trans. The sticker isn't real clear(to me). I need to order parts for it and I want to make sure I get the right stuff. Not sure if the parts I need are tranny specific or if the parts I need are interchangable between LS trans. A synchro ring and spring at the 3-4 synchro, synchro hub and sleeve and 5th/reverse synchro hub and sleeve.
Here's the picture of the sticker. If it can't be determined by the sticker, what's the next step in identifying what I've got?

Unfortunately, if there is doubt on what exactly you have then you need to take it apart and start counting teeth. If you are in there I would suggest doing a full inspection and most likely replace all the synchros, springs, and seals at minimum.

So are the synchro sets the same on all b series trans?

No. LS is different. All the others are the same as far as the hydro transmissions go. All '94 - '01 LS transmissions are the same though so if you're sure it's an LS trans you're set. Your sticker at some point said S80 before the dash.

How can you tell it is an S80 and do the numbers after it mean anything? If I wanted to be 110% sure what I've got, one of you mentioned counting teeth?

I suppose it could have been a Y80 as well, but either way it wont matter. Those two are the only B-series codes that end in 80. Those numbers don't really mean anything, or at least there's no way for us to look decipher them. For an LS transmission you don't even need to count gear teeth. Just take it apart. If it's an LS trans the 2nd gear syncho will be one piece unit like all the other gears (every other B-series uses a dual cone 2nd gear synchro) and 3rd gear itself will be a single piece (all B-series vtec transmissions use a 2 piece 3rd gear where the engagement teeth are a separate piece)

My way was just a much less involved simple minded approach in the context that some people may not know what any of that even means.

Thanks to the both of you, it does make sense. The 2nd gear synchro is one piece.
