Hello there!

The shaft is for a b16a2, fited in a EG but i Believe all b16a2 shafts are the same?
I hade a drive shaft failure and found the "roller bearings" to be bad aswell

So i wonder can you buy these loosely? or do i have to buy a brand new inner CV joint with Everything?
did cost 270$ from honda here in sweden...

Honda probably has a part number for the complete inner joint. the "tripod" part of the joint (inner, three pronged yoke with the bearings) may be available in the after market, but i wouldn't know where to start a search for something that would be available in Sweeden.

in my experience, the grooves in which the bearings travel will be worn if they are worn and so should be replaced as a set.

 

Yeah! i will call honda tomorrow, Was checking the part lists from honda myself (as i work as a honda mechanic) but could just find the complete inner joint with the shaft part etc aswell but it was really expensive.


The grooves is fine, the reason they cracked at the top was because i made way to many launches with launchcontrol and poor bushings etc (now upprated) and with the Quaiffe LSD diff the car "wheelbounces" alot so the drivetrain took some damage
Gearbox and diff etcs is still going strong!
