Default 94 accord ecu

Hey guys. I have a 94 accord f22b2 vtec automatic. Its my low n slow daily but I was trying to give it a lil more oomph. Would I be able to get a chipped n tuned ecu for it?? Would that even do anything to power??

If MPGs are not a concern, the quickest/easiest way to 'waken' a F22 would be to put a lower geared trans in there. With automatic cars, replace your original AOYA/BOYA trans with an Odyssey MPJA.

I haven't decided on mpg but I do want a lil more power from it. So it's not completely show with an exhaust and intake.

Get a cold air intake. I use injens. Stay away from the hot air intakes.

What is the ID for the 92-96 Prelude trans? I believe it has the same gearing 1-3 as the Odyssey but a taller 4th.

There are a few choices as the 4th gen Prelude did come with a few different engine/transmission combinations. F22, H22, and H23. Fairly sure the H22 came with the MP1A trans, that will most likely have the lowest of gear ratios due to the short stroke of the H22 VTEC.

I am thinking that the H22 didn't come with an auto until the Gen 5 in 97. I know the H23 had an auto, as well as the F22A. I figure the H23 is probably what I am looking for, since the F22A was really just the bottom of the line version and probably not geared very low.

You can get a little more out of her with a cold air intake and a tuned exhaust manifold.

I've got the f22b1 which appears to be starting to go out and was looking for a possible swap as well. Will the afore mentioned MPJA that Mike said fit mine as well. I've been told to look into a prelude trans. Not sure exactly which one though.

90-97 Accords
92-96 Prelude
95-97 Ody(MPJA)
All use the same family of AT, gear ratios are different.
