'96 Accord Seats: Coupe vs Sedan
I have a 96 accord coupe, and I am planning on going to the junkyard to pull some seats that are in better shape. The only question I have is, is there any difference between the seats in a coupe vs a sedan? Like if I pulled the seats out of a sedan, would they match in my coupe?
Thanks
Thanks
From what I have seen, the fronts should bolt in. V6 front seat has more power options and weighs a lot more. Colors may be different between 94/95 and 96/97. As to the back seats, I have never tried to swap between coupe and sedan but I think they will work. Word here is "think". There are some armrest differences. Going to the pick-and-pull I guess? Best to try a swap there. I once tried putting a Gen 6 front seat in a Gen 5. The bolt holes from the frame did not quite align, but they could have been made to work.
Rear seats are different.
Too lazy to check, pretty sure Coupe is a solid backseat and Sedan has a pass through, shaped slightly different as well. Lower portion is rectangular on the Coupe and irregular on the Sedan.

^this is spot on.
Coupe seats are more bolstered on the sides of the front seats, as well. They should just bolt in, but you'll lose the better bolstering. I know for certain the pattern of the cloth armrests are different lol.
