Default wheels and tires

hi guys, thinking of changing the wheels and tires on a 2005 Honda Civic JDM ES1. it came out of the factory with 185/70 R14 88S. I was wondering if I could upgrade to 16 or 17. Plz suggest as local tire places are crap as hell when advising. thanks

What do you plan on doing with the car? Circuit racing, spirited road use only, slow driving, daily driving...

Daily diving mainly, would love a sleek stance though...... Not lowering the car.

If you're not lowering the car, you're going to be stuck with wheel gap. Therefore, I'd advise not buying any wheels and tires, as they won't look sleek at all without a moderate drop to accommodate.
