Hello i have a 1990 civic hatch with a b18 swap in with no a/c or p/s and i was told putting a/c could not be done because of the lack of space is this true or can i install a/c altering/combing diffrent parts?

 

You have to use your stock compressor and lines, and use a hasport ac bracket that allows you to bolt it to the engine. There's also a thread here somewhere where someone used the innovative ffront cross member( to clear up space) and used his stock compressor with stock bracket and made it work.

 

The stock d series one ?

 

Yes. I just tried this last month. B series compressor and bracket will hit your crossmember, no clearance unless you want to notch it up. Not recommended. Innovative and Hasport makes a bracket that will take your stock d16 compressor to fit your b series motor. But I believe that those 2 only take Sanden compressors. From what I read before, there are 2 different compressor for d16s? Good luck
