I see lots people who have problems with the power steering not working at idle but mine stops working above idle, say 1000 RPM. At idle the wheels turn lock to lock like butter using 1 finger, the way it always has. Just have to rev the engine a little and try 2 hands and you can barely turn it.

I flushed out the old fluid which was really dark and put in new Honda fluid but the problem is the same.

What could be wrong? Could it be the power steering switch is faulty or something relating to the IACV?

2003 coupe (Canadian Si) 1.7L.
