Considering a 1.6 EL
Car is a 99-00 gen Acura 1.6 EL. Everything on it is okay but the first gear in the auto transmission is slipping.
I'm wondering, is it going to be a cheap fix or has EL's been known to cook auto trannies?

EL is the same tranny as the civic its a Civic SI in canada and a Civic EX in the USA.
Yes the auto trannies on all hondas are know to gernande when they are not maintained.
