just a quick question. it seems obvious that I should be able to bolt up a d16z6 exhaust manifold to a d16y7 head (cracked the original manifold) however when I place the gasket for the y7 on the z6 manifold, it appears that the d16z6 manifold studs are further apart. is this the case or am I missing something? and yes, the gasket fits the d16y7 manifold.

 

The manifold should bolt right up. Are you sure it's a D16Z6 manifold, and not a B series manifold?

 

Sorry for late reply. Honestly, I dont know for sure. Could be, looks like a 4-2-1, as opposed to the mani with the cat in it that im taking off. Either way, I payed $5 for it. Ill probably just buy a new d series 4-2-1. Thanks.
