hey guys i have a problem , my car has a smell of gas i tried smelling it out but best place i had luck was from underneath the car, im guessing one of my fuel lines is rusted out or damaged , my question is can i cut the bad section out and put new fuel steel line and and use compression fittings to join them? What would be the best way to go on about this. Thanks.

 

Check to see where its actually leaking from. Most common will be the banjo fitting on the fuel line on the fuel rail, also check your injectors for leaks.

 

I saw it was a line , it was a fat one with fuel in it, this is the return or main supply?

 

So can i use pressure fittings on that line?
