2002 Honda Civic with JDM SLXA auto tranny swap
Can anyone help..we put a 2002 auto SLXA Tranny in the car and the drive light is flashing..when you put the car into drive it feels like you have to press extra hard on the gas for the car to move a little bit..does anyone know what the problem could be? All the other gears work fine..

Was your original tranny a BMXA or SLXA? Did you switch over all the sensors from the original? It's most likely the transmission range sensor (TRS) that is causing the blinking D. You need to put tranny in neutral and then calibrate the TRS. Sorry to say that you'll most likely get a P0740. I've been trying to figure it out how to get rid of it for the past month. Here's a thread with instructions how to do the TRS calibration. http://www.civicforums.com/forums/36-mechanical-problems-vehicle-issues-fix-forum/357512-why-you-only-shift-4-positions-slxa-tranny-bmxa-swap.html
