Icon2 Help with P0133 OBD Code

Hi all it has been a while since my last post.

The CEL on my 03 Civic EX coupe is lit. I took it to autozone to read the OBD which lead me to the front oxygen sensor.

I use this guide to verify the sensor and the second test failed.

The heater element is not getting ground. I really don't have that much aptitude around wiring problems, can any lead me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Dan

I realized last night that I checked the heating element circuit when the car was warm, which is not correct. I read a lot of posts last night and decided to reset the ECU. I warmed up the car and unplugged the battery and let the car idle for 10 minutes.

I read that the 10 minutes at idle with no accessories on is so the ecu can re-learn how to adjust to idle the engine.

Anyway the CEL is no longer on. What are your thoughts on replacing the OEM O2 sensor, I'm very close to 80,000 miles.

I checked the ground wire with the engine cold to the O2 sensor and I do not get a ground, it is 72F outside but the CEL light is not on.

Not sure what to do next...
