Default S80 Tapered bearing?

Hi, I going to buy a LSD, I don't want to open the transmission yet. But I remember for the last time I open it, she have taper bearings.

This mean it's a GSR differential? LS S80 use the ball bearing type right?

Specs:

S80
66T x 15T = (4.40)
Taper bearing style

Any help will be appreciated this s80/y80 GSR or LS is driving me crazy!!!

Thanks

LS/B16 trans use enclosed ball bearings, early GS-R/ITR transmissions use tapered roller bearings. Late GS-R/ITR transmissions use offset enclosed ball bearings. When replacing a differential in a transmission that had tapered roller bearings it's easiest to replaced them with the offset ball bearings as they're much easier to shim.
