Default lessons learned from clutch replacement in 2000 accord first timer

Would i do it again...

Yes now that i have the tools :-)

tools missing that i needed -
deep socket impact for the larger bolts and bolts (17 and 14)
torque wrench - smaller size - below 80 lbs

search for specific videos to get help. While removing the ball joint is PART of the clutch process most people skip that in their videos so if you have issues with that "remove left axle" section then you need to find specific videos.

The guide on here was helpful but it was NOT for this year accord, the 2000 model year is different

Just be aware when searching for videos that people post the wrong years all of the time :-(

replacing ball joint
replacing cv axle

It took me 5 full days over 4 weeks to do this project.

Why ? when stuck you have to figure out what is going on :-) and that takes time and life happens so.

Could i do it alot faster the 2nd time certainly probably over the weekend...could i get it done in 1 day probably if i had every part that i needed...mostly rusted nuts or bolts that needed replacing.

Trickiest part - lifting tranny back into position...remembering where all the bolts went.

I will post a video of a what the differences were
