JDM ys1 transaxle?
Hey everyone looken for a bit of help here just baught a JDM 1990 Acura integra with a b18a1 and ys1 manual transmission. The guy I baught it from said it needs a new transaxle as the car shakes badly when shifting but I can't seem to find a new transaxle. I also noticed it is missing the front motor/trans mount. I haven't driven it yet to see how it acts myself so I don't mess up the new cv axles. So the question is where can I find a new transaxle or could it be the missing mount causing the problem. Thanks in advance.
Umm if there is a mount straight up missing, I'm willing to bet that's where your shaking/vibration is coming from. If you do really need a new trans, and B series transmission will bolt up to your engine, so you have a lot to chose from. A GSR trans would probably be the best combination of fuel mileage and performance, with the stock Ls trans offering more mileage and the B16 trans offering the best acceleration. Either way, I would definately get the mounts all taken care of before throwing a new trans at the car.
just so you know, the b17 gsr trans is shorter than the b16 trans by a bit. shaking drivetrains is usually the result of bad mounts. check the rear Mount while you're at it and see if its good
also, mileage doesn't really change much between the ls and b16/b17 transmissions. I cruise at 75mph, roughly 4k rpm, and get 30-33mpg

Well the mount finally came in I was told that it came with the bolts but now they say it doesn't and don't know what bolts it is. So wondering if anybody knows the right size bolts I need for the front mount and trans mount

I have a few spare sets laying around the shop, I'll try and get some measurements for you. Where are you located? If you want a set you can have them just pay whatever it costs to ship or if your any kinda close to my area you can grab them. I'm east coast just outside of Philly.
Sorry I totally forgot to measure the exact length and thread pitch of these, but I will do that today when I get into the shop. I can tell you their part numbers and all if you want to see what the dealer will charge for brand new, compared to shipping for a used set. For the bell housing to engine block you will need:
23 90050-PG7-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X65) qty 2
24 90051-PE0-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X70) qty 3
23 90050-PG7-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X65) qty 2
24 90051-PE0-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X70) qty 3

Shipping would be about $9 for the bolts themselves or $15 if you want the bolts and a used mount. There are quite a few sets laying around here so if you end up needing it, that's no problem at all.
not trying to insult you or anything but how did you find the part numbers is there a book I can get or a website you use I've just looked everywhere online I can think of and came up with nothing
