1996 Accord with Speedo problems
The speed sensor at the rear of the engine compartment appears to have been damage and the connector and wiring HAVE been damaged by heat (melted :\ ).
According to local Honda places the connector cannot be purchased / isn't manufactured anymore.
Any idea on how to swap out the current vanilla parts with working parts? Aftermarket is fine but WHERE do I find compatibles?
My knowledge with cars is limited to gopher and fetch it work for my neighbor so please don't be too technical in replies.
Also, direct links to pictures of the parts especially with the name, brand, stores that sell would be EPIC.

I would say a junkyard would be your best bet. For a car that age chasing a new wiring pig tail might be just a touch easier than finding Mr Hoffa. You can also grab a sensor while you are at it.
E-bay has several parts but I'm not sure if they are what I'm looking for, any ideas if this will work?
