Was the 8th gen dx/lx premature brake pad wear issue resolved?
I'm about to buy a new (used) car. 2011 Civic LX.
But alas, I googled and found many, many complaints about premature brake pad wear. I havent known about this issue so what I'm asking is did Honda ever come up with a solution? Did anybody come up with a solution? Should I avoid the civic?
thanks

Just service your brakes, if you take them apart once a year and clean some rust and grease things, they will last a long time. Premature wear is a fancy term for "**** it, it's a lease. I'm not doing any maintenance."
