1998 Honda Civic LX

Currently when I set my cruise control my wipers come on and will not go off till the cruise control is no longer controlling the speed of my vehicle.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this before on the 96-00 civics.

What speed (high, low, intermittent) do the wipers run when cruise is set?

Does unplugging the wiper switch connector prevent the issue?

 

I will let you know, It's on jack stands right now but might as well pop it in gear and check later today. Thank you

 

When wiper switch unplugged problem is not present

However when it is plugged in, wipers come on low

 

Plug the wiper switch back in and then unplug connector B from the integrated control unit. Does this prevent the problem?
