Funny I started thinking the same thing recently. Her commute consist of 5 blocks and the occasional diversion the the market witch basically add 2 more blocks. Plus my mom just learned to drive not too long ago. Might as well beat up a beater. She had a traumatizing even as a child that held her back from trying to drive.

 

Was the transmission damage a result of this recent fender bender?

So what does she drive nowadays?

No fender bender was a year ago. The trans just started acting really rough recently and now just stops moving after warming up. Like it just looses power.

Right now We're in the market for a Prius or a 2nd Gen+ CRV.
