1999 Accord AC controls
I recently was given a 1999 Accord to use as a work car since I drive 40 miles each way to work. I had to fix alot or horrible wiring issues like lazy stereo install and HID head lights. but for the life of me I cant get the AC controls to work. it has manual controls and the Blower works but no lights or Door actuators. ive downloaded and read a lot of info on the fuses, and probed power. I have swapped in 2 used head units and now have a new on inplace and it doesn't work either. does anyone have a decent scematic, or guide to make sure im looking at the right wires/fuses and probing for right voltages and ground?
when I got the car the horn relay was pulled out, I put it back in and it works fine, I installed a new CD player with adapter harness just so id know all the wires were correct and after repairing what the old owner cut and spliced it works great not. Thanks for your time and any help......Hal

Yea, you can buy a pretty good FSM from www dot automanualsource dot com for ~$25.
That said, what are the test inputs to the HVAC unit?
Did you get any codes from the HVAC unit?
Since you just got the car, are there other things not working?

no codes, had no power to #3 fuse on drivers side dash. 12v at fuse #13 on Pass side, power to #3 wire on control harness and no power to #2 wire in harness. when I jump power to #3 fuse the blower works but I get no 5v signal at #16 on harness. I unplug the mix control motor and still no 5v. so I guess every control head ive gotten is faulty. but now I wonder why I have no 12v at the #3 fuse terminal on drivers side.
