Platinum plugs will have the longest life. NGK or Denso is what I ran in my Hondas.

How often do you plan on changing them?

Should be able to run 86-89 Integra plugs as they have a lot of similarities.

I typically run the G or V power plugs in my cars.

Well depends, what's the interval difference between the platinum and iridium plugs? Is it significant?

Standard NGK V power copper plugs are what you should use. They are cheap and work the best.

OP, for your need, NGK Vpower copper is the best. They are relatively cheap and they have the best conductivity beside silver. For DD, they should last you 30K miles.

Another vote for V-power . . . ran v-powers in everything from blown alcohol v8s to daily driven 4 cylinders.

Laser Platinum are better than Iridium IX. They are the best plug NGK offers for the D16. If they had Laser Iridum, those would be the best (but they don't). Irdium IX are cheaper iridium plugs with a regular ground strap. The "Laser" series (both Platinum and Iridium) use a Platinum ground strap. They last much much longer than V-power nickle plugs. They also have a silicone coating that reduces deposits.

You can find the Laser Iridium plugs for the CRX very cheap on ebay.
