Default Cracked air intake hose

Honda accord 2000 LX v6. Basically I'm finally getting around to cleaning my egr and I find that my air intake hose has a crack. It's not big. I found this picture online that I'll show you as an example. It kinda looks exactly how mine is.

I'm out of work right now and don't have money to properly replace. Should I leave it as it is or cover it with duct tape? Id replace the whole thing but I really don't have any money. So I need some advice. Thanks guys.

If you really don't have the money....then yes the tape would be a temp solution.

New from the dealer they are ~$35 (17228-P8A-A01 -double check this), so a search thru some bone yards, online or something like that and I bet you can find one for less.

You could probably get rtv to work on there if you wanted to. You could just apply it liberally around the area and let it dry/cure for about a day or so. It should hold up nicely.
