stoptech part# 950.40000 fits EF models?
I need front stainless brake lines only for my 89 DX hatch, because I already have stainless lines for the drums at the back.
Has anybody bought stoptech's kit # 950.40000, which are front lines only? Do they fit the 88-91 civics? Are all front Honda/Accura brake lines the same for non-abs cars in the 90's? Stoptech's catalogue does not list a brake line kit for the 88-91 civic at all, but sellers on eBay and other online shops say they fit almost every civic from '88-'00!
I've searched everywhere and nobody ever talks about front brake line differences between Honda models and so it's hard to know for sure if they will bolt up and be long enough.

why limit yourself to stoptech?
i'd get hawk hp plus if your mild street car or else for track car get some ap1 cobolt friction xr3 pads.

I've used a set of the eBay stainless but the ad specifically said 88-91 civic/crx. If you cannot find any info on lengths, I wouldn't mess with it and find some that are model specific, maybe even go with a different brand.
If I were you I would just purchase a full kit so you can have the lines if you upgrade to a rear disc setup later. Link below has both available in Goodridge.
Goodridge G-Stop SS Acura/Honda Brakeline Kit - JDM Honda Parts USA
I have Goodridge lines for the back drums already. I don't want to make a civic that locks the rear wheels every time I break by having an unbalanced car.
That Stoptech part number is for fronts only, which is exactly what I need and want. I don't want to pay for another set of lines that I don't need.
Stoptech replied to a query I sent them and pretty much told them they don't list anything for the 88-91 Civic. So, I guess my only option is to either give them a shot or wait for someone on this board that has actually run them before on their 88-91.
These lines are compatible with 88-91 CRX. Aren't those lines the same as the civic hatch?

Compare OEM brake line part numbers on Majestic. That should tell you. Also 90-91 CRX Si's had OEM rear disc brakes.
Both links are for 89 Civic/CRX DX OEM part numbers.

the length may not be right and the mounting tabs may not be right, but it should connect to the fittings on each end. i usually end up zip tying to fit on stuff like that.

Interestingly, all aftermarket stainless lines do not have a center bracket/fitting that the OEM lines have. I assume that the other two brackets are enough to make the line curve and stay in place. Am I right?
