So i have had this issue for a bit can't seam to get it right going down the high way go to set cruise control everything kicks on let off the peddel damn thing drop about 13-15 mph then kicks and cruises so if speed limit is 60 I need to do 75-80 set cruise control then it falls to around the speed limit I have adjusted the cable but does not seam to do anything what do you think I am doing wrong ( no I am not removing I take my children to see their grandparents every few weeks 150+ mile drive one way so I do use it regularly) any suggestions would be great fully appreciated im just tired of adjusting it

I could be mistaken but is the cruise control vacuum controlled? I forget, if it is maybe there is a leak?

 

No vac lines it is a cable from throttle body to cruise box on drivers side adjusted it a few times
