Default CV Axle. Reman. Or stick to OE

Outer boot is leaking driver side. Getting a creaking sound when I'm turning at slow speed.

I see remanufactured ones for $50
Majestic Honda has new ones for $150... Will probably have someone so this for me unless it's real easy.

What ones should I opt for. Put a lot into the car recently (suspension work) so I was kind of mad this happened right after. I bet the mechanic that worked on it did something on accident.

I buy $70 axles from chain auto parts stores because they carry a lifetime warranty.

This is an apples to oranges comparison, but I replaced an axle on a wrx once with one from rock auto.
After only a few thousand miles, all of the splines sheared off of the axle in the differential.
The cheaper part may be even better though, because it doesn't have nearly the same engineering costs factored into its price.
I always go for Honda genuine parts though, because I know that what I'm getting will always work as intended.
Tolerance stack ups can sometimes really screw things up for aftermarket parts though.

parts store axles are hit or miss, but carrier lifetime warranty, some of them are bad straight out of the box

I use the parts store ones, one thing for sure is you will get good at changing axles ...lol

I buy Raxles or OEM because my time is valuable. Auto parts store axles are hit or miss and the probability of having to go through a few axles to get a good one is too high for me.
