I have an '89 Prelude 2.0 si coup auto. the thermostat housing is cracked and it's very hard to find a replacement. Can a '88-'91 Prelude 2.0 SI thermo housing fit?

 

Yes you can use one from the 88-91 Prelude SI's they are all the same and share the same part numbers.

 

Can someone tell me where I can get a new or used thermo housing 1989 prelude 2.0si. Also can the cracked one be welded?

 

Honda does not make new ones anymore as they have been discontinued. Oreillys sells the thermo housing cap not the complete housing setup. I would look in junk yard or parts dismantlers in your area for a used one and see what you can find. Also I wouldnt recommend welding that cracked unit as its not high quality metal and will most likely do more damage then good.
