got to the track no 2 step...... wtf..crome pro
Wednesday night I went out to my car and checked the 2 step knowing I was going to be heading out to the track Thursday night.. Seemed a little fishy that my 2 step was at 7200 but my digital tach was only reading 6400-6600 I thought it was a little strange but I guess I didn't put to much thought into it..... So I went to the track last night pulled the car off the trailer let it warm up and went through my little check list and right before I left the pits to go to the staging lanes I checked for the 2 step and nothing.... I opened crome pro and tried to lower it to 6k and it hit it for like a half of a second then revved right past it... I obviously thought that was Weird so I tried putting it back to 7200 again revved right past it... For ***** and giggles I put it to 3500 and worked.... Then tried raising it again and it wouldn't..... (pulling hair). So I went ahead and tried lowering it again and then it didn't work at all again... So now no matter where I put it, it doesn't work.... When I bring up the realtime monitoring in crome its reading a rpm signal soo.......... I just don't get it....... meh
Sorry not familiar with Chrome. What is your activation for the two-step? Is it based off wheel speed or is it based off a switch? If it is your clutch switch make sure it is actually activating. Can you tell in chrome if the input to activate the two-step is working. For the clutch switch make sure it isnt a problem where you have to be floored to activate the switch
Play with the threshold settings. Configure the threshold so its always activated and make sure it works at all then work backwards by refining the threshold. Post a picture of your 2 step configuration window.
I would think the igniter is not the issue with your two step. I would think like Muckman said is a threshold on your sensor settings. It may be getting noise as you rev up and not actually stay under 3mph
