Hey, im new to the whole prelude scene, and I want to buy one really soon. I just wanted to know the major differences between the 4th gen prludes, prelude Si, and any other versions that are out there. Thanx a lot, lates.

 

4th gen:
1992-1996 S - 135HP (SOHC) (less luxurious)
1992-1996 Si - 160HP (DOHC) (more luxurious)
1993-1996 VTEC - 190HP (DOHC) (most luxurious, i.e: leather seats, cd player etc..)

 

Prelude SE....

yea, but the 4ws was only available on the 92 Si and the SE (Si with more accessories) was in 95 i believe..

I'm not sure about the yrs. but my '93 prelude si has 4ws. I think it was the last yr.
Also the 4th gen has triangle taillights and the 5th gen looks like they swapped the headlights for the tails. They 'switched' every generation. Personaly I think the 4th gen looks the best but is not as roomy as the 5th.

4WS was also available in VTECs. I mean here in Europe. I've Fine Art version which is probably the most luxurious version.

Si came in 4ws and non 4ws models.....the link I posted has all you need..

 

I own also lude with 4WS and it's VTEC for sure But it's an euro/jap version.
