My car came with aftermarket HIDs. One of the past owners installed them. One side is bad, so I want to go back halogens.


Questions:


B is where the headlight goes. Unplug from the ballast, and plug into the halogen bulb.


What is A? What do I do with this if I want to disable it HIDs?

 

B does not plug into your headlight. The plug will match the backside of the halogen bulb.

Does this "kit" have a separate wiring harness? Locate the headlight plug closest to the battery and check.

 

Unplug everything that is attached to the car . you should be removing 2 pieces . Then the car side plug should plug directly into the halogen light

 

like the post above, remove the ballast (big box) and hid bulb, then take plug b and connect it to a halogen bulb and put that back in the headlight.
