swapped b18b1 for b18b engine need help with iat sensor
Ok so did the swap the old intake manifold is not an option to use the iat sensor was on that manifold on my new intake manifold it is not there it was on the rubber boot that goes to your air filter but I have an after market air filter so I don't have the part anymore what do I do can I buy a sensor and install it somehwhere if so where i still have the plug in my wire harness to use just no sensor
since when is the IAT not on the intake manifold for an integra, you are making no sense the intake manifolds are the same. let's see a pic of your intake manifold with no IAT provision.
please specify what chassis you have EK/dc/da... in terms of dealing with a DC integra you make no sense.

Bc the engine I put in it is from an 96 civic obdll my car is an obdl newer engines they put the sensor by the throttle body into the rubber boot to the air intake
there would still be a provision on the intake manifold... like I said post a pics of your #1 intake runner and yes i'm well aware of how the obd2 civics have their IAT but the integras have it on the intake manifold #1 runner 94-01. My 98 ITR engine sure did and that's obvious obd2 so what car do you have a civic or an integra, you're dodging any questions that make your claim reliable.
I actually have an intake manifold without the IAT. Only because it was from a JDM b18b though. Apparently they didn't use it or something. I don't remember, but they also either deleted a nipple in the back of the intake mani or added one. (nipple for the evap i believe)
I know forsure it was from a JDM b18b because my cousin bought it directly from H-motors online.
You can either drill 3 holes into your intake or you can just plug the IAT up and leave it in the bay. I did that for a while but i ended up drilling holes in my intake.
