so the guy i sold my car to replaced all of the brake lines and did some fuel line work. Now that i have the car back, i have some things i need to address. he used a GM style fuel line repair kit with compression fittings to fix the rear of the fuel line. my original idea was to cut, re-flare, and union a new metal fuel line with the appropriate bends etc.. to replace the hack job that is on there now. my question is this, are unions ok on fuel lines? i mean, there are unions made when brake lines are replaced and they don't leak. i wasn't sure if i should save my money and cut, re-flare and add on new metal line with a union, or spend the $100 on a brand new fuel feed line from the dealer?
