I will be getting a 1998 Honda Accord LX with the Heather mist (YR508M) paint color. However, the previous owner cracked the front bumper on the right side, and broke a hole into it on the left. I want to replace the bumper, possibly with a subtle aftermarket one that will go well with everything else being stock. I will also be lowering the car with Koni Oranges with either H&R springs or Eibach pros.

Any suggestions on bumpers? Problem with a new bumper, I will have to paint it. I was thinking maybe spray bomb it and try my best to make it look good, or maybe just plasti dip either my whole car, or the bumpers, hood, trunk, and roof. Any opinions on how that would look? I have no idea how much it would be to get a bumper painted over here in Washington.

get a oem one from a junk yard, sometimes you can get a color matching one

 

I have been looking at my local junkyard for awhile now for the bumper (The accord is currently my Step Dad's, so I have always had an eye out.) Sadly the only 3 to come through were either beat to an unrecognizable situation, or have the holes for the clips broken beyond repair

 

Just beware some aftermarket bumpers require fiberglass fabrication so look for one with factory bolt locations.

these places have 2-4 bumpers and most will ship if needed

None of them had a colored match bumper. And in my opinion, they had them for like $200 each. The place near-by has them going for around $50. I might as well just get one that isn't the right color, and plasti dip it black. or get a bra and cover the front end
