Default 00 Civic Dx coupe/D16Y7 - oil pressure warning light

Okay here is the story i finally got my car to run. After like month in a half. Got a new engine on it (well not new used junk yard engine on it) but runs good. Only one problem every time i start it, mostly when i cold start it, the check oil light shows up & stays on for while & turns off. its doesnt make a nosie of some sort just a normal start. But after i start to drive it for a while the light keep on turning on & off. Blinks very fadely, & turns off. After it turns off, awhile later my car turns off while i am braking or have it in neutral. Then it starts right back up like nothing happens. any idea on what it could be? i change the oil pressure switch like three time & it does the same thing? Help?

Instead of just continually replacing the sensor, you need to actually test your oil pressure. That light is a dummy light. If it's on, you have next to no oil pressure. You've probably already damaged the bearings.
