IL Rust Free EF hatch - JDM ITR swap
SOLD!
Now that the price is out of the way you must be asking yourself why it's so cheap. Well, I have four project cars and want to pick up a different one but need to let one go first. I am less attached to this car than the others so it's gotta go. Originally I built this car for my girlfriend because she wanted to give a shot at road racing but in the two years since its completion she has yet to drive it.
On to the pics:

The features are as follows:
98 Spec JDM ITR swap
Supertech valves, springs, retainers
STR cam gears
Spoon venturi-plate intake manifold gasket
Jun header
Jun oil cap
Jun radiator cap
Feel's baffled oil pan
HKS exhaust
CTR N1 pullley
Avid Mounts
Avid axles
ACT clutch and flywheel
ITR trans with LS fifth gear
Syncrotech carbon lined synchros
ECTuned P28 - dash harness has been repinned for the OBD1 conversion
4x114.3 brake conversion - milled hubs into EF SiR knuckles so the geometry is right
SSR MKI OR Team Dynamic wheels with Falken tires - your choice
Innovative traction bar
PIC select coilovers
K Sport lower control arms
Benen rear lower tie bar
CRX dash conversion
Vision steering wheel
M's adjustable shift ****
Seibon driver's seat
Bride replica passenger seat
Crow harnesses
Custom harness bar
Rear seat delete - fully carpeted interior
Alpine stereo
The exterior is stock aside from an SiR wing. The shell is completely rust free down to the unmolested quarter panels. The driver's door has a small rust spot under the handle that is about half the size of a dime . . . maybe. It is a prior theft attempt with a clean title but the way the guys tried to steal it they marred the door shell where it meets the door frame. This doesn't do anything but make the door look ugly when opened. I was going to source a replacement driver's door if the car was staying. Hopefully its not.
The only annoyance is an intermittent short on the circuit that runs the radiator fan. Occasionally when it kicks in the tach, coolant gauge, and turn signals drop out. It's something I haven't gotten around to fixing but I'll include the 1991 Civic Helms ETM with the car. Knock yourself out fixing what should be a barely shielded wire with heat-shrink or electrical tape.
So that's it. Rust free shell with a JDM ITR swap for a bargain. If you are local to Chicago I will happily meet you at the police department of your choosing for a once-over, test drive, and sale. If you are not local we can make arrangements that suit your situation.

No, sir. Perfect for Austin because I forgot to state that there is no water valve for the heater. New owner will have to source on with the hoses to run coolant to the heater core that is still in the car.
From Honda they are $35 but since this is a summer-only car it was something I was going to do eventually. I had plans for pulling the engine and redoing the entire car after the Integra but need to move it instead.

Added a front pic off the seats and updated the parts list. I forgot about the Synchrotech carbon-lined synchos and the Spoon venturi-plate intake manifold gasket. Thank you, Texas, for all the PM's thusfar.
Deadbeat seller. Provided seller with continuous communication and even offered a deposit when said he would sale.
Seller agreed to sell to me as an out of state buyer and even provided picture of title as requested so I can insure the vehicle to drive back and complete title transfering to Texas.

As I am about to step out to drive and pickup the vehicle, he sends a message advising vehicle has been reserved for a different seller because he is committed to buy the car when the banks reopen on Tuesday when I already have cash in hand and will be able to make purchase before Tuesday. Caused for lost time because it took me all day to prepare since I spoke with him when the listing was made. Very untrustworthy and unprofessional.
Here is the evidence and earlier communication from the seller as he agreed to sale. I didn't even try to bargain down by a penny.
"Here are the rest of the pictures. I hope you're able to pull them up on a computer so we can speak about them over the phone if you'd like. If you can review these, please give me a call.

Thank you for posting those detailed pictures as proof that I was as forthright as possible concerning the sale and condition of the car to an out-of-state buyer. Please understand that you are not, nor were, the sole person interested in the car. I spoke with you over the phone in regards to the purchase of the car and wanted you to look over the pictures prior to even considering a long journey north. This was out of respect for you being so far away and hopefully, to anyone reading, a testament to my professionalism and courtesy.
In the meantime I was in discussions with a local buyer that could see the car today and effectively "shake" on the deal. The car was brought to a mutually agreed upon meeting place where the details of the car were discussed. If the prospective buyer deems it worthy then he can come in and vouch for my candor in the exhibition of the vehicle.
At no point did I accept a deposit from you nor did we finalize any deal pending your review of the condition of the vehicle. Essentially, by the time you were able to review the pictures and call, the car was already sold. I appreciate that this car is an exceptional bargain for any buyer but please do not hold me responsible for you losing out on a deal. Keep in mind that I took extra measures for you to be satisfied with a thorough review of the car since you are an out-of-state buyer. That was out of courtesy and not malice.
I'm sorry to everyone, not just you, that has been in contact with me today about the car and was not able to buy it. I'm sure I will continue to receive messages about it long after it's gone to its new home.

I will vouch, as the new buyer of the vehicle, for the professionalism that the seller has upheld.
He has been nothing but upfront about everything concerning the vehicle itself, his relation to the vehicle, vehicle history, and other interested parties.

The small parts were bought directly from JUN Japan. The header was sourced locally.
The EF is officially sold and with the new owner. I wish him the most enjoyment possible out of the car and hope to hear about its exploits on the track.
Thank you everyone for your interest.
