So I have a 95 civic coupe with a b18a1 and a b16 trans. every once in a while the cars check engine light will flash three times continuously while driving, doesn't affect how it runs or anything. It comes and goes every so often but doesn't ever affect it. The car does have a surging idle every so often and I've cleaned the IAC and it seemed to help a lot but I was told it could be the ecu going bad. I'm pretty sure I have a p75 ecu and I was told it was chipped has two step also. Just wondering what you guys think any help is appreciated! Thanks

 

I have a similar thing when i'm at red light my check engine flash somtimes. It's not nice to see that hehe i have B16A2. I will check what's up with that.

 

try another ecu and also check on yours to see if it says p75 rather than being pretty sure, just know for certain

 

I changed the igniter unit of the distributor. It's been 1 week and no flash yet. It may have solve the problem but I need more time to test because my problem was intermittent...
