Have to take off throttle body to get to dpfi injectors?
'88 Civic is my first major car project and I've done a lot so far already.
I'm replacing bad injectors, it's stock dpfi. Do I have to remove the throttle body to get to the top injector? I can get to the bottom one just fine.
I'm not interested in an mpfi swap right now and everything I've found even in the FAQ sticky is either for the mpfi swap or engine swaps. Thanks for any feedback.

No, you do not need to remove the throttle body to remove the injectors. Once you get the screws off the injector brackets, they need a little prying and wiggling to get them out.
Thanks. I was able to change the injectors today. In order to make them function I had to clean inside with throttle body cleaner and use electrical grease on all the seals. I'm still getting a check engine light despite disconnecting the Battery after I was finished. However I'm running much smoother and idling stronger so I think I may have a seperate problem to fix.
