Drivers side front bumper side marker losing power
One time I was driving down the street and I got out to check something and I noticed my side marker was off, it was fine for a few days until it happened again, I noticed after I washed my car it didn't turn on, if I keep flipping the switch off and on eventually it will come on, but turn off soon after. I checked the bulb, but if it was the bulb my JDM side marker would stay on, but it doesn't, so it has to be losing power, I even swapped bulbs just to be safe. I took off the side marker and turn signal and inspected the wiring as far as I could reach and it didn't seem corroded or ripped or anything, by the way, the passenger side marker is normal and does not lose any power or anything, I heard they share the same ground so it can't be a ground problem right? I could be wrong, but does anyone have any ideas to start off? I'm bad with wiring stuff lol, but im gonna be doing my engine swap this weekend so while the engine is out i can follow the wiring and inspect it, but any suggestions? thanks
Where did u run the power from? I ran the power to my sidemarkers from the turn signal harness (I have the jdm turn signal lenses that have no bulb mount facing to the sides) so it was easy to just cut the wires and extend them.
I found the problem yesterday, the bulb was weak so I replaced it and doesn't turn off anymore
