Help! Apparently I have or am getting smoged in ca as a B16a3 , I have a b16a JDM
Any one want to buy this!! I've done so much work to this car only to find out I'm fucked!! It's a 93 civic , new b16a , brand new ceramic headers, brand new intake and manifold, and CAT.... I can't pass smog. If anyone has any ideas to help I'd appreciate it!

Yea I talked to the reff, I'm in placerville,ca. East of Sacramento . The reff told me since I have a JDM engine he was treating my car as a 94 del sol and so now all specs have to match that of a del sol.
So why not source the parts required to pass? He's allowing you to actually use the JDM engine...
I've put too much $ into it already, it has adjustable cam gears which is illegal, that has to be returned to stock, brand new headers now have to be changed to match what the stock del sol would run, it has integral wiring so all that has to be replaced as well as some other minor things here and there . I don't have the time or $ to keep dumping in this car. But it's from out of state, I can't get the title till it passes smog. It's a huge mess I'm in!!
Everything has to be carb legal make sure you have a usdm Ecu for the engine they are passing it as? not a chipped one with a base map. It's what it is bro ;/ at least you have the chance to reff. My b18c eg hstch was stolen before i could reff it....got it fixed then next day ... Gone :/
Cams have to be changed... Everything has to be stock....
Ooorrrrr.. Keep it registered with insurance to that state with a friends address maybe ??

If it were me, I'd sell off all the aftermarket parts and replace them with stock del sol stuff. I believe the ecu has to be the same year as the car or newer as well.
If he's treating it as a 94 del Sol here is what you do.
Get an obd1 stock header.
Get a ca compliant cat convertor for a 94 Del Sol. HAS to be that model. They will check the carb number on the cat.
You need to get an USDM P30 ecu, for a 94 Del Sol. You'll have to check the revision code on the ecu to let you know which revision / year the ecu is specified for. Check the hondata website for the ecu identification listing that explains this more in depth.
Any other emissions equipment you'll need should be on the intake manifold. If it is not you'll have to source the correct manifold/sensors.
Take your car to the referee and fail. They will tell you everything you need to know to fix and pass you. They want to pass you, not keep you off the road. They will help you get there.
Since your car is a 94 you'll not need to worry about the aftermarket intake.
What intake manifold is on the car?
What header?
I believe you can get carb compliant versions of both.
